Standing Committees

Executive Committee: The Executive Committee members are the President, Past-President, Vice-President (Public Sector), Vice-President (Private Sector), Secretary /Parliamentarian and Treasurer. The Executive Committee shall exercise the duties of the Board of Directors between directors' meetings, and in emergency situations shall have the full authority in the Board's absence, with such action being affirmed by the Board at its next regular meeting.  They shall also perform other such duties as the Board of Directors may from time to time direct.

Board Development Committee:  The Board Development Committee shall have a minimum of three Board Members.  The purpose of this committee is to recommend a slate of candidates to the Board of Directors to fill vacancies on the Board.  The Commitee will also be responsible to provide a slate of candidates for Board Officers at the Annual Meeting.  The Committee shall also be responsible for nominating candidates for any vacancies on the Board or in any office during the year.  This committe shall also be responsible for fundraising.  This committee shall meet as determined by the committee or at the request of the full Board.  

Program Development Committee:  The Program Development Committee shall consist of a minimum of two Board Members.  The purpose of this commitee is to develop programs that meet the needs and concerns of the Ozaukee Business Community.  This committee shall meet as determined by the committee or at the request of the full board.

Business Development Committee:  The Business Development Commitee shall consist of a minimum of two Board Members.  The purpose of this commitee is to determine business sector goals and programs.  The committee will meet as determined by committee or at the request of the full Board.  

OED Work Groups - Are not standing committees, but meet as needed.

Economic  Practitioners:  OED holds quarterly meetings with local economic practitioners. These meetings focus on key issues and opportunities occuring within the development field and provide members a chance to share programs and ideas.  

The Board of Directors may from time to time establihs additional ad hoc commitees as deemed necessary and appropriate to properly conduct the business of the Corporation.
